Custom Travel respects the privacy of all customers, old and new. Our privacy policy
shown below offers you peace of mind and confidence in the data we collect, what, how
and why.
We have a legal duty to protect any personal data we collect and to ensure proper
secure measures are in place to keep personal data safe.

What personal information do we collect ?
Custom Travel will collect a combination of data, including your name, email, postal
address and contact number together with any special needs and/or medical information
deemed essential for your travel arrangements. We also collect the aforementioned for
any persons you represent on your booking ie persons travelling with you. At the time of
making a booking or paying a travel balance, if you choose to pay by credit/debit card
we will need to take your payment card details.
Any of the personal data we collect from you is necessary for the purposes of delivering
travel agent services, or for taking steps to enter into a contract with you. To be able to
deliver our services, your personal data is used in the following ways:
- confirming your booking
- sending you a booking confirmation
- assessing your needs to determine suitable products of services
- sending you requested product or service information
- administering your travel account
- to notify you of any changes to your booking or our services
- to allow us to consider your comments, questions and suggestions and respond,
if necessary; to enable or facilitate the exercise of our rights under our website
terms and conditions and booking terms and conditions.
We may also be required to process your personal data to comply with our legal
obligations under ABTA membership / ATOL membership.
Failure to provide your personal data when making a booking will result in us not be able
to process your booking or enter into a contract.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
Acting as a travel and tour agent, we will pass your personal data onto any third party
tour operator / travel company as necessary to complete your booking and provide the
services requested.
Your personal data may be accessed by, or given to our staff, contractors and agents
who assist us or act on our behalf to conduct our business as a travel agent, including
delivering services to you.
Your personal data is held on our computer records and paper records in the [UK / EU].
As a member of The Protected Trust Services your data is stored and disclosed on the
PTS computer systems. Should our agreement with Protected Trust Services terminate,
your personal data will be retained by or transferred to PTS depending upon the
circumstances.
Your personal data may be transferred outside of the EU for the purpose of providing
you with the travel products you are booking, depending on the supplier whom you are
booking with.
We will not pass on your details to other companies for marketing purposes.
We won't disclose credit/debit card numbers unless we believe in good faith that the law
requires it, or you have requested and we have written consent from you asking us to do
so on your behalf to secure a reservation that can not be paid via ourselves.
How do we protect your information?
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect your personal data, both
during transmission and once we receive it, against unauthorised or unlawful processing
and accidental loss, destruction or damage. Unfortunately, the transmission of
information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we take reasonable
endeavours to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your
personal data transmitted through our website.
How long do we keep your information?
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed , to
provide you with the services you have booked. If you wish to cancel your account or
request that we no longer use your information to provide you with our services, contact
us at enquiries@customtravel.biz.
We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal
obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Our website may feature links to other businesses. Our privacy policy applies only to
Custom Travel Ltd. Other websites have their own privacy policies and when clicking
through to another website we strongly recommend reading its privacy policy, especially
as the way in which personal data may be collected from you may vary. Please note that
links to these external websites are not covered memberships / associations we belong
to. Any views or opinions along with special offers and promotions on external websites
may not represent the product/opinion Custom Travel.
